Giveaway: It’s Never Too Late to Be What You Might Have Been
How many “closet writers” feel defeated before they begin, simply because they didn’t publish that book sooner? A lot of writers get caught up in the fact that they are older and have wanted to write for a long time. For all of those folks (and there’s a little bit of that in all of us, I think), I’ve got a giveaway you will love. It’s the book: It’s Never Too Late to Be What You Might Have Been by B.J. Gallagher.

Here’s a description of the book:
Inspired by the timeless quote by great writer George Eliot, It’s Never Too Late to Be What You Might Have Been is a guidebook to getting the life you always wanted. Written in best-selling author BJ Gallagher’s trademark warm and witty style, this book is written for, in her own words, “Everyone who has let fear or busyness or any reason good or bad get in the way of achieving your highest goals and long-held dreams, and isn’t that everyone? My intention in writing this book is to give people a hand to hold in taking the next leap or maybe a kick in the pants to get our there and just do it!” Gallagher gives personal examples through interviews with people who have achieved their dreams with specific tips for readers to take away. Inspirational quotes seamlessly tie famous people’s wisdom with your neighbors’ wisdom, leaving the reader with feelings of support and a can-do attitude.
This book is to help readers figure out what they want from life, what they can offer others and the world, and to give the motivation, the push, and the inspiration to take the first step toward that dream, in any area of one’s life. No subject is left unmentioned; whether you are changing you job, suddenly becoming an artist or an athlete, in any stage of life, or falling in love for the first time, or the last time, Gallagher reminds readers that “you were put on this earth to be the best ‘you’ that you can be” and that you’re the only one who can take on that task and succeed! Readers will undoubtedly find themselves quoting from this book and passing along the messages in their own words to loved ones and strangers alike.
More information about this lovely book can be found at the publisher’s website.

I’ve always believed that one is never too old to begin anything and I have put off writing a book for far too long. This book could help me immensely! I need some encouragement and inspiration for sure.
I would love to give this to my mother. She is going to be retiring soon and has always wanted to be a writer.

Hi I just wanted to say that it’s a great contest you have going. I’m embarassed to admit that I’ve turned 36 and still don’t know “what I want to be when I grow up” mostly due to being defeated before even beginning to try. I’ve been working on myself and “It’s never too late to be what you might have been” is the mantra I tell myself these days. Thank you
sounds like the motivation i REALLY need. too many dreams/goals have been left behind.
I would love to read this…as I approach 40 I have been thinking a lot about all the plans I had when I was in my late teens and early twenties and kind of wondering what the hell happened…..this might be the boost I need!
I quit grad school two months in and am moving back from europe to live with my parents. not exactly where i was hoping to be at 24 1/2. i have no idea what i want to do with my life! but who really does. i could definitely use this book if i won it!
