Working Writers is Now on Facebook!
The Working Writers blog now has a Facebook page! If you’re on Facebook, come on over and join us. We’ve got lots of great stuff on there. Links to our job postings, a photo album with all the fabulous writers we’ve interviewed, and some discussions.
Here’s the new discussion I just started:
“What’s the measure of a successful writer?”
You’ll notice that same question is asked in several of the author interviews I do. There’s a good reason for that. So many authors and writers get hung up on successful as it is defined by someone else. They write a novel and instantly think they have to sell as many copies as Stephen King or Dan Brown. It doesn’t mean a new author can’t have that type of success, it simply means perhaps getting a book deal is what makes you successful. Or getting that book out of your head and down on the page. Or simply hearing from a small group of fans that you have touched their lives. All of these things mean success.
I encourage you to read the other interviews we have on here and see how various writers have answered this question. I hope their answers inspire you to continue writing!
