I found the instructions you have on your site about how to read a Kindle book without a Kindle very helpful. How long have you been an e-reading enthusiast?
The first ebook I read was Michelle Sutton’s Danger at the Door. I didn’t have an ereader, so I emailed her and asked where I could get it in print. Her response was that I couldn’t. That’s when I learned that I could download the Kindle to my computer, Blackberry, netbook, etc. Ever since I downloaded it, I haven’t looked back. If a book doesn’t come in E, I simply don’t buy it.
Tell us about your latest book. Is there a favorite passage you can share?
My latest book is my first young adult romance, Mistaken Identity. It was so much fun to write! My favorite passage is a magical moment between Channing (my hero) and Eden (my heroine) when they lock gazes and realize for the first time that there’s a connection between them. They’re in the swimming pool in her back yard and their parents are along the edge. They’re not alone, but to them, they are the only two people in the world at that moment.
Share some of your writing goals. What’s next for you?
I’m currently working on a young adult mystery series that’s heavy on the romance. I love mystery and I love romance, but you don’t normally find the two of them together. The first book in the Zoe Mack Mystery Series comes out in January 2012. I’m working on a new blog for Zoe at www.zoe-mack.blogspot.com.
She writes secular suspense and there are sometimes distasteful words that I have to overlook, but I absolutely love Lisa Jackson’s books. Right now, I’m reading Whispers.
What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
Writing is really my only hobby. I used to ride a Harley Davidson, but sold mine in order to have more time for writing. I’m thinking about picking watercolor painting back up after I’ve met my next deadline.
Where can we learn more about you?
I’m on twitter and facebook also.
Anything else you’d like to add?
