Covers I Love: March 2015

As the warmer months approach I find myself being drawn to colorful book covers with interesting titles and descriptions. I wonder if my experience is the same as the average reader? I would guess so. Since so many indies are doing their own covers, I like to point out my favorites every month. Click here for all the posts in this series.

Maybe it’s a hold over from Valentine’s Day, but I love the pink on here. It stands out. The white string heart is interesting also.

I love the artsy look of this cover. It stands out against some of those premade covers that all look alike.

I love this cover! I think it’s something an indie could possibly do as well. I like the colors used and the way the graphic pulls you in to look closer.

Leave it to B. J. Novak (from The Office) to have a book cover like this! You have to admit it does stand out fairly well.

This cover has caught my eye a bunch of times this month as I’ve been looking through books, so I definitely had to list it here. Is this a kid’s book? A novel? It makes you want to find out more.

This is a book for teens but I can easily see something similar working for an adult novel. Clever and again, stands out against some of the more cookie cutter covers I’ve been seeing.

  1. Thanks, Cherie; I loved some of the covers you have selected. B.J.Novak’s cover stands out beautifully, and I liked The Ivy Tree (I would most probably open that book to see what was inside). Have a great day.

Those two really stood out for me, too. Thanks for weighing in, Diane!
