I’m always amazed at the backgrounds of the writers I interview here. It goes to show you that no matter where you come from in life or what your goals, you can make a career as a writer.
I’m a sucker for a great writer, and even better if that person has a sense of humor. You’ll find both with Nancy Means Wright.

Gene Jennings is the perfect example of a writer who did not give up on his dream. After his mother’s death, he said he realized “how quickly life was passing by and I didn’t want to go any further without pursuing my dreams.”
