Most freelancers I know work like crazypeople. (Myself included.) It’s not that we always have to, but we really seem to want to. Plus, if you want to be a successful freelancer, you really do need to learn to work hard and treat your work as a business.

I love quotes from writers, and every once in a while I come across one that I like to share. This one involves a great writer, a lovely thought, and a favorite food.

Here’s a great thought to start off our weekend:

Most people that read this blog are writers, but don’t you think most writers are also readers? I sure do.

If it’s one thing that irritates me, it is writers who do not help each other.  Writers, please, we are all in this together! 

If there is one thing writers need to do consistently, it’s write. Not talk about writing, but putting a pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard) and putting words down.

I have to admit, I’m not such a huge fan of Woody Allen‘s movies, but as a writer, I admire his longevity. I also saw this quote from him that I think is very applicable to writers: “Eighty percent of success is showing up.” ― Woody Allen This quote makes me think of the freelancing [...]

I caught this quote and knew it would be perfect here at Working Writers. Most writers love reading.

There are some days a person just has trouble getting the words out. It happens to every writer. Here’s a perfect quote to think of the next time it happens to you:
