Just finished Elizabeth I: A Novel by Margaret George (who we had the pleasure to interview here) and I have to say I was just so impressed. You know, I’ve read so many Tudor fiction books that before I start another one I wonder how that writer can give a unique take on the situation.

I just read The Girl in the Green Raincoat: A Tess Monaghan Novel and have to say this short novella is just what you need for quick read to satisfy your mystery needs.

I admire J.D. Salinger’s work immensely, but as an author myself I scratched my head at the refusal to publish in his later years. In reading J. D. Salinger: A Life I had hoped to get a better understanding as to why he chose to live that way. I think the book succeeded.

In Have I Got a Guy for You: What Really Happens When Mom Fixes You Up, women tell of their true accounts of being set up by their mothers.
