Just finished Elizabeth I: A Novel by Margaret George (who we had the pleasure to interview here) and I have to say I was just so impressed. You know, I’ve read so many Tudor fiction books that before I start another one I wonder how that writer can give a unique take on the situation.

I read Vanora Bennett‘s book, Portrait of an Unknown Woman and immediately started looking up her other books. You know how when you discover a new author, you just want to go back and read everything they have written?

I love all books, really, but especially enjoy historical fiction.
