I’ll admit it, I love watching those reality shows where people sing and then other people judge and then someone gets critiqued and/or voted off. I love them because they are fun to watch but also because I see some similarities between shows like that and being a writer.
I’ve already established how much I love Richard Castle, right? I love that show, love what the producers have done to integrate real writers on the show, and really adore the product cross promotion.
Even the most compelling writing and subject can fail if you let the small irritations get in the way of that connection with your reader. Make your writing worth reading and take it from good to great by avoiding these seven pitfalls.
It’s a short week here with the Thanksgiving holiday, so I hope you all enjoyed your day (if you celebrated) and if you didn’t, I hope your week was productive anyways. How’s that for a run-on sentence?
